Radon
Radon is not just in the air, but can also impact your water - leading to stomach cancer and also the risk of inhalation.
Lead
Lead is a naturally occurring heavy metal found in the Earth’s crust and potent neurotoxin. There's no biological need for Lead in the human body.
Arsenic
Arsenic is either natural or unnatural, but is a highly toxic element which occurs through mineral deposits & industrial runoff.
Copper
Copper is an essential nutrient for the body, but too much can cause issues and is usually caused by piping.
Nitrates
Nitrates are primarily a byproduct of agricultural and waste-management. They are highly soluble, dissolving in water and moving through the soil into the groundwater.
Nitrites
If a water test shows even 0.5 mg/L of nitrite, it is a cause for concern because it can mean there's a nearby source of raw sewage or active chemical runoff that hasn't had time to "stabilize" into nitrate yet.
Bacteria
Bacteria are micro organisms and can cause all kinds of health issues that are life threatening. Common ones found in water are E. Coli, Salmonella, & Shigella
